My Collaboration with Gaia Olives: From Halkidiki to My Table

The package I received had green olives stuffed with natural peppers. These olives have a unique flavor that reminds me of Spanish olives but with a more Greek character. Gaia Green Olives with Pepper & Feta Meze

A simple and authentic Greek meze made with Gaia green olives stuffed with creamy feta and sweet red pepper. This Mediterranean appetizer brings together briny olives, rich cheese, and a hint of spice for a bright, flavorful bite.

Ingredients

  

• 10 Gaia Green stuffed olives with natural pepper
• 2 tsp Gaia Olive Oil
• 2 tbsp feta cheese crumbled
• ½ tsp dry oregano

Instructions

 

• Place the 10 Gaia Green stuffed olives with natural pepper into a medium‑sized bowl.
• Pour the 2 tsp Gaia Olive Oil over the olives.
• Sprinkle the ½ tsp dry oregano on top and gently toss to coat.
• Top the olives with the 2 tbsp feta cheese.
• Serve immediately as a simple Greek meze.

Είχα τη χαρά να δημιουργήσω μια νέα συνταγή με τις Gaia Olives, μια οικογενειακή επιχείρηση από τη μαγευτική Βόρεια Ελλάδα. Οι ελιές τους έχουν εκείνη τη χαρακτηριστική ελληνική ζεστασιά· αυτή που μετατρέπει ένα απλό πιάτο σε κάτι γεμάτο παράδοση και γεύσεις.

Οι πράσινες ελιές από τον βόρει Ελλάδα, έχουν μεγάλη θρεπτική αξία, και ιδιαίτερα από την περιοχή της Χαλκιδικής, θεωρούνται από τις καλύτερες στον κόσμο. Το μεγάλο τους μέγεθος, η τραγανή υφή  οφείλονται στο κλίμα της περιοχής.  Η συγκομιδή της ελιάς γίνεται με προσεκτικό μάζεμα με το χέρι, από τον Σεπτέμβριο και συνεχίζεται μέχρι τον Οκτώβριο. Oταν ο καρπός είναι στο ιδανικό του στάδιο ωριμάνσεις.

Έλαβα ένα πακέτο με πράσινες ελιές γεμιστές με φυσικό πιπέρι. Είναι ιδιαίτερες, εχουν αλμυρή, αλλά και ελαφρώς ξινή επίγευση που τις κάνει πραγματικά ξεχωριστές.  Στη πλούσια  συλλογή της.Gaia Olives, θα βρείτε Πράσινες Ελιές Χαλκιδικής σε άλμη, ελιές γεμιστές με πιπεριά, και με αμύγδαλα.
