BBQ Feta Cheese with Peppers and Onions Recipe

SimHey there foodie friends,

This recipe is for those Feta Cheese lovers out there and I know there are manyyyy of you!!.  I was going to post this last week but with everything that is going on at the moment, I just needed to take a break.  We bbq a few weekends ago and I wanted a side dish to add to our table.  I almost always add Feta to our table.  So, since we were bbq I came up with this delicious Feta Cheese side dish.  A simple and quick recipe. 🙂

Usually, I bake the Feta Cheese with a few other ingredients and definitely love it when the cheese melts in the oven.  But this time I wanted the cheese to be a bit firmer so that the peppery taste of the cheese along with the onion and pepper taste bursts at every single bite.  Now, you can of course use any other ingredients of your choice rather than what I used.  One more ingredient that also makes a huge difference on Feta, Oregano. 🙂

In 2019 I was in Germany for a weekend. I usually go grocery shopping in Germany because the prices are much lower than in NL. Anyway, to make a long story short, I purchased a box of parchment paper that was thicker than the regular kind.  I had no idea there were so many different types of paper.  So, when we bbq I use the thicker paper so that it doesn’t tare.  If you are not able to find it in your area then use two sheets rather than one.  It does make a difference.

I gather that you have seen the fires in Greece these past few days and still continue to burn.  Unfortunately, they have yet to be able to put them out.  I am very upset and frustrated and disgusted.  Fortunately, people’s lives were saved but the animals and the forests have been completely destroyed.  Very very sad 🙁

I hope you enjoy this tasty recipe, have a good day everyone
