Hello,
Dips, dips, and dips are the summer essentials for our summer BBQ tables. Goat cheese dip have you ever tried it? If yes, that’s fab but if not then here is your chance. This Whipped Greek Goat Cheese Dip is a light and refreshing dip made with fresh herbs. The goat cheese dip has a smooth texture for dipping in your favorite crackers, fresh bread, and chips. This dip is also a great spread on your favorite zucchini, tomato, or potato croquettes.
I made zucchini croquettes over the weekend as an addition to this dip. I wanted something tasty that would give the croquettes an even more refreshing taste. This dip was definitely the one, I added the classic fresh herbs dill, parsley, and chives. Adding chives to this dip gives it a bit of an oniony flavor but not as strong as the regular red or yellow onion. Plus I wanted a bit more green color in the dip and so chives definitely made a delicious difference. If you’ve been following me for a while you might have noticed I tend to use leeks more than I do onions, this is why I love chives because their taste is similar to leeks.
When it comes to preparing these little treat dips I mean, I prefer to prepare them a day in advance. I usually make three to four dips and even though these are simple recipes it does take a bit of time to put everything together. When we are preparing to BBQ I think it’s better just to deal with preparing the meat, fish, veggies for grilling, and the salads. I love my salads, I also prepared a Tune Pasta salad but I will share this with you next time.
If you love to try out new dips then try this Whipped Greek Goat Cheese Dip.
