Hello there,

As we head towards St. Patrick’s Day I wanted to make a quick and festive green appetizer.  I had a few ripe avocados on hand so I made this Quick Avocado Dip that’s so simple you won’t believe it.  This 3-ingredient avocado dip is the ultimate easy snack that doesn’t compromise on flavor. This dip is made with just two ripe avocados, and very few ingredients, and it comes together in just a matter of a few minutes. I don’t remember if I ate avocados when I was younger, but I started enjoying them about 10 years ago, and now they’re a regular part of my meals.

The natural richness of the avocado is the key ingredient, while the lemon juice adds a refreshing flavor. Whether you are going to be serving this dip for chips, spreading it on sandwiches, or using it as a topping for tacos, this avocado dip is perfect.  It’s a delicious, healthy treat that everyone will love! If you love a little heat, feel free to spice it up with your favorite hot spice paprika or peppers for extra depth. I chose to keep it simple.  No garlic, or hot spicy peppers.  I wanted the freshness of the lemon to come through, and the natural taste of the avocado to stand out.

Equipment

  • 1 food processor
  • 1 spatula
  • 1 serving bowl medium size

Ingredients
  

  • 2 avocados ripe and cut in half
  • ¼ tsp smoked paprika or spicy hot paprika
  • ¼ tsp salt
  • 2 - 3 tbsp lemon juice

Instructions
 

  • Combine all the ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth.
  • Serve with your favorite, chips, or vegetables. This dip can be used as a topping on a Taco.
