Prosciutto, Mint Cheese ball Recipe

Hiii,

How is everyone?  June it is still considered to be Spring and not Summer, but for some reason I always thought of June as the beginning of the Summer.  The weather conditions are lets say awful, cold, and raining and just blahhhh.  Supposedly this is how it is going to be throughout the Summer according to the weather person.  We are right In the middle of  the week, and many things to doooo and verrryy quickly.  Along, with everything else I am doing I am also studying for the  TEFL Teaching Certificate Exam in September.  There is so much to read and remember!!  (I sometimes think I should have waited to start this later in the year).

So, these delicious  Cheeseballs were just a quick mix together of ingredients, and puff done.  If you can’t find Ricotta Cheese in your neighborhood, you can always replace it with Cream Cheese, I have done that myself a few times…The taste is just as good as it is with the Ricotta Cheese. 🙂

Have a great day today!!!

INGREDIENTS:

1 cup (250 grams) Ricotta Cheese or Cream Cheese

1/4 (60 grams) cup Proscuitto

1 cup (250 grams) Parmesan Cheese

1 Egg

1/3 cup Oregano

1/4 cup Bread Crumbs + 2 additional cups

1/4 cup Red Bell Pepper (finely chopped/optional)

Vegetable Oil (frying)

PREPARATION:

In a large bowl mix together the Ricotta Cheese, Proscuitto, and Oregano.

Once combined add in the Parmesan Cheese.

the egg, and the 1/4 cup of Bread Crumbs.

Roll into small meatballs.

Add Vegetable Oil into a frying pan.  Add the Cheeseballs and fry until golden brown.

This process takes about 20 minutes.

Kali Mas Orexi!!! 🙂

  1. Sounds like busy busy times indeed. You'll ace the exam, and you've got plenty of time to prepare (though as we know all too well, September will be here before we know it!) How have you found the TEFL course? Are you doing it online? The cheeseballs sound, and look, delicious! I've never made them so I wouldn't mind giving them a try. Nom nom. A little comforting food is good given the cold yucky weather at the moment, it's definitely not June-appropriate! xx
  2. Another delicious treat. Yum
