Hey there foodie friends,
It’s time to start up the BBQ and chop up those fresh vegetables. Veggies and fruits are some of our favorite snacks, but that’s not all, so are dips, especially refreshing dips like this Honey Lemon Yogurt Dip that I am sharing with you. This is a pretty easy dip and so very refreshing. It goes so well with fresh, grilled vegetables, and fruit. It’s ready in just a few minutes and made with tasty ingredients.
The ingredients used in this dip are lemon juice, honey, Greek yogurt, and olive oil, and of course just a pinch of salt. I have not added any lemon zest because I believe the juice was enough to give it that tangy flavor. I tried this dip with lemon juice and zest combined, but it turned out too sour. What is so great about this dip is that it has a beautiful silky thickness due to the Greek yogurt. The honey balances out the lemon juice and the olive oil and gives it a slight sweetness.
The yogurt is the key ingredient in this recipe, so as I have mentioned before, use good quality Greek yogurt if possible. I used Greek yogurt with 2% fat but 5% also works. If you use full fat greek yogurt, it will turn out quite thick, so dipping will not be easy. There are no spices in this dip, I’ve only added a pinch of salt, but it is optional. The lemon juice is from organic lemons, I love the juiciness of organic lemons. The honey in this recipe is Greek honey, I’ve been using the same brand for years.

Honey Lemon Yogurt Dip
Equipment
- 1 mxing bowl medium size
- 1 serving bowl
- 1 whisk
- 1 lemon remer
Ingredients
- 1 cup greek yogurt 2% fat
- 1 ½ tbsp honey
- 1 tbsp lemon juice
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- pinch of salt
- dill chopped dill for garnishing
Instructions
- In a medium-size mixing bowl, add the yogurt and the remaining ingredients.
- Whisk until all the ingredients are combined.
- Add the Honey lemon yogurt dip into the serving bowl. Place the bowl in the fridge for 20 minutes.
- Serve cold with your favorite veggies.
