Hey foodie friends,
So, I’m back with another feta recipe. But this time it’s Whipped Feta Party Bites, which are the ultimate party treats. These bites are creamy, tangy, and addictive. These are the kind of bites you make when you want to look like you spent hours in the kitchen. But it is just mashed cheese with other delicious ingredients combined. I made a batch the other day, and before I could even plate them nicely, my husband had already devoured half. (The man has no self-control.) I was barely able to grab two of these bites for myself.
I was looking to make something for Sunday brunch. The day before, I had stopped by the bakery and picked up a fresh baguette. I wanted to keep things simple but still full of flavor, so I sliced the baguette, toasted the slices until golden, and then layered on the whipped feta and topped each one with a roasted mini pepper.
I started by taking all the ingredients out of the fridge to let them warm up a bit. The whipped feta cream is great to make ahead and keep in the fridge overnight if you’re having people over. I pulled out my food processor to get going. If you don’t have one, a blender works just fine, too. I’ve been thinking about getting a new one, since mine is pretty old. I decided to wait for a good sale.
There’s more, it’s not just the whipped feta cheese, let me tell you what I did with the mini peppers? I placed the mini peppers in the air fryer, gave them a light spray of olive oil, and let them cook until they were soft and just slightly charred. That little bit of char adds so much flavor and makes them even sweeter. Super easy, and no need to turn on the oven! You can also fry the peppers, but I avoid frying as much as possible; it’s up to you.
Whether you’re going to have friends over or a delicious weekday or weekend treat for your family, these Whipped Feta Party Bites are for sure the way to go. They’re rich but light, salty but balanced, and simply delicious.
If you’ve got some feta cheese and peppers in the firdge don’t hesitate to try out this delicious Whipped Feta Pary Bites recipe.
Wishing everyone a wonderful morning/afternoon/evening!
