Hey there,
How is everyone today? With this heat, we weren’t bbq much but we were eating so many other delicious appetizers. For example this tasty sauteed Mushroom. These mushrooms were so good that I ended up eating them all by myself. 🙂 Hubby is not really a mushroom eater but that’s ok more for meeee!! A very simple recipe to prepare with such a unique taste. I came across Honey Balsamic Vinegar about 3 years ago while shopping in Greece and just fell in love with it. If you love Balsamic Vinegar then you will love the sweet and sour taste this vinegar has to offer.
This might just be the shortest ever post that I will write this year. I have been sitting here in front of my laptop waiting for my student to call and watching a rerun of Gilmore Girls. I think I may have accidentally deleted my “I Love Lucy” episodes. Or I may have moved them to another folder…not really sure of what I have been doing lately. That’s one advantage of working from home. You can work on one thing, listen to music, watch an episode of your favorite TV Series. That’s about it folks!!
So, I will jump into the recipe and I hope you enjoy it!! Wishing everyone a great day and week!!!!!!

KALI MAS OREXI!!! 🙂
Hello dear Sophie, I really love mushrooms but I never tried them with balsamic vinegar, and I love it 😋 Must be super delicious 😋
Yummy😋😋😋
Thankkk you so very much!!!
Ooo sounds like a good way to liven up mushrooms and give them a new lease of life with honey balsamic vinegar, and that sweet/sour sounds like an interesting taste combination.
Stay cool, Sophie! xx
Ohhh it was so goodd!!! Hope you are doing well Caz 🙂
This looks so delicious! Honey balsamic vinegar is amazing. Stay cool! This heat wave is something 💗🌻
Thanks so much Lisaaaa….It finally got a little cooler today….we can breath again…a month of Heatwaves in NL is definitely not normal. Stay safeeee
Sophie this is a-mazing! I had a craving for garlic about four days after having your dish. I thought, ahhh!!! So I added garlic with the butter and olive oil, then the mushrooms. Then the vinegar. I served with parmigiana fresh grated. A different but good version for when garlic is necessary 🙂. Went back to the original when we were having garlic sauteed zucchini with it. I’m going to try a red wine vinegar and adding fresh chives next time. (we eat a lot of mushrooms, lol)
I hope you are enjoying the cooler weather. Me, I’m longing for the heat again.
Be well.
Lorri
Hi Lorri, Thank you so very much for your kind comment. Your version also sound absolutely amazing!! As much as I love the smell of garlic, I am not a fan of eating it. hehehe But lately I started to roast the garlic and onion before adding into a meal. It definitely does make a difference. 🙂 Absolutely loving the chilly weather now!! Stay safe Sophie 🙂
