Hey hey, foodie friends,
It’s been a while since I’ve posted a pasta recipe don’t ya think? I was focused on other recipes that didn’t involve pasta but I think it is time. This Salmon and Fusilli Pasta recipe is a simply delicious seafood pasta dish, there are no other words to describe it. Most of the recipes for this dish have cream, but this one does not, and it’s a much lighter pasta dish. There is no frying involved just a few ingredients baked all together.
Start by boiling the pasta of choice, I went with Fusilli it was either this one or rigatoni. You can use whichever pasta you love for this recipe. While the pasta was boiling, I preheated my oven, then rinsed the cherry tomatoes there was no need to cut the tomatoes in half. The whole cherry tomato is what does the trick, along with the melted feta cheese. If the feta you are using is either salty or has a peppery flavor it’s best not to seasoni. Instead slightly season the salmon with a pinch of salt, pepper, and tarragon. Yes, you read it tarragon on pasta is delicious combined with salmon ohhh my gosh!
There are two ways to prepare the salmon, you can either pan-sear or pop it in the oven don’t forget to remove the skin from the salmon if you are going to pop it in the oven. I always remove it, but I know others who do not again it’s up to you. Remove the salmon and the feta and cherry tomato mix. Use a fork to combine, drizzle olive oil, and add the pasta. Add the pasta and the mixture into a large bowl, and use a wooden spoon to combine. Garnish with fresh-cut parsley andddd olive oil.
I hope my fellow seafood foodie friends find this Salmon and Fusilli Pasta recipe interesting. Would love to hear your thoughts 🙂
Have a wonderful morning/afternoon/evening everyone!
