One Pot Creamy Tortellini Pasta Recipe

Hey there,

It’s One-Pot Creamy Tortellini Pasta Recipe time!  I was debating whether to prepare the classic Mac and Cheese and or this creamy recipe.  I decided to go for the creamy tortellini.  The reason I choose the One Pot Creamy Tortellini Pasta Recipe is that I only need one pot!

As much I love cooking I am also a foodie so I am always up to trying other cuisines.  Neither of course is Greek recipes, but I always like to change our weekly menu.   I believe that there should always be variations, for example, vegetables, pasta, salads.  I avoid fried food always have and now even more so.  My twist to this recipe is that I added just a bit of white wine.  I also used leek instead of an onion to give it a sweeter taste.

Inspired by Italian cuisine this delicious creamy One-pot Tortellini recipe is a delicious and basically budget-friendly dish.   Most of the recipes I prepare are budget-friendly.  I have been budgeting ever since I can remember, I don’t think I have ever walked into a supermarket and just fill the cart without a shopping list.  I went old school, writing everything down on a pad and not my phone.  In the past, I would keep everything on my phone but after it crashed without reason the customer service department could not fix it.  So, that’s when I decided to go back to writing my shopping list.

One-Pot Creamy Tortellini Pasta Recipe

A creamy textured pasta dish made with cream, tortellini, cheese
Prep Time 5 minutes
Cook Time 30 minutes
Course Dinner, Lunch, Main Course
Cuisine Italian, Mediterranean
Servings 4 people


  • 1 leek chopped
  • 250 grams spinach
  • cup olive oil
  • ½ cup cream
  • cups tortellini
  • 2 cups vegetable stock
  • chili peppers optional
  • salt pinch
  • pepper pinch
  • 1 tbsp tomato paste
  • parmesan cheese optional
  • ½ cup white wine


  • In one large pot add in olive oil, chopped leek. Stir for a few minutes.

  • Add in spinach.

  • Add vegetable broth, chili peppers, salt, and pepper. Stir cook on medium heat for about 5 minutes.

  • Bring to a boil add in tomato paste, cream, wine, cheese tortellini. Cook until the sauce has thickened and tortellini are al dente.

  • Serve immediately. Garnish with Parmesan Cheese
