Dip, Dip, Dips love them!! Sorry, but I’m not really sure how to translate this one in English but what I am sure of is if you love hot and spicy dips, well this is the one to go with. 🙂 Hot Paprika Peppers combined with Aubergine, Onion and Garlic, but wait that’s the original recipe which I found on syntalogeio.blogspot.com. I tweaked the original to make my own lighter version without the onion and garlic. 🙂 Â
This hot and spicy reminds me of a story that I would like to share with you, I have a friend who loved eating spicy food, and I think she still does hmm but I’m not sure. 🙂 Anyway, we worked together many years ago in Greece as Faculty Sec. 🙂 I am not going to mention her name but she knows who she is because I know she reads my blog hahahahaha. I will never forget that day, we were trying to figure out what we wanted to have for lunch, so we decided on ordering Chinese. My friend called in the order and she specifically requested that her order be realllyyyyyyy spicyyyy.Â
Our Chinese take out arrived, 🙂 oh wait!! one second!! I forgot to mention that our desks were not facing each other, one was towards the window and the other desk was next to the door and we almost always ate lunch at our desks. For me to be able to see her I had to swirl around in my chair to face her so, as I was saying my desk was the one facing the window and on that day we were working on exams, and as I turned around to ask her a question, OMG I looked at her face it was so REEDDDDDDD I thought something happened to her!!! RED! I MEAN SERIOUSLY RED LIKE THE COLOR OF FIRE RED!! I asked her if she was ok and she said she was fine and enjoying her food..she had this big smile on her face and she kept mumbling “hot, spicy, hot, spicy, hot, spicy love it”. 🙂 Â
I could not believe how so infused with spice her food was that her face could turn so RED.:) I don’t think I have ever seen another human being turn so red after eating spicy food since then.  So, if you enjoy eating spicy food then try this dip either with onions and garlic or without you will love them both..:)
