Fresh Basil Pesto with Pasta

Hii,

I love to make Pesto, but cleaning up afterward is a challenge for me, especially when it comes to Basil Pesto.  For some reason, this just seems to splatter everywhere.  Don’t ask me why? it just happens. And the crazy part is that I use a food processor.  I was craving Basil Pesto..sometimes I like to spread Basil or Tomato pesto onto bread or crackers and eat it.  Do you enjoy eating pesto without Pasta?

I grow my own herbs.  But this time the Basil seeds I planted did not work out, so I ended up buying Basil for this recipe. Don’t you think that Basil such an intense aromatic smell and taste?  I always use one specific brand, but since I am not able to find it here, I bought another brand.  My tomatoes and Green Beans are doing great actually and so are the rest of the herbs I planted. 🙂  Do you like to grow your own herbs?  When you grow your own fruits, vegetables, and herbs the taste is much more intense…fresh water, good soil, and some TLC is all they need. 🙂

So, I have a bit of info that maybe you might be interested in.  One of the first bloggers I met when I first started a few years ago was this fabulous and very warming blogger Catia from the Novus Lectio blog.  I have kept in contact with Catia for a while and I was so excited for Catia when she told me that she was pursuing a new career.

Catia started her own Cosmetic line!!  Catia’s line has a wide variety of Cruelty-Free products from Body and Shower products to Makeup and Organic Soaps. I think it’s wonderful when I hear that friends are off pursuing their passion.  If you have the time I would truly appreciate it if you can pop over and check out her site.  Catia’s website is https://www.eljemel.com/   I haven’t come across a Capucciono Bath Soap yet but I  found one on Catia’s site, so this will probably be my first order.

Have a great day everyone!!
