Hello,
With the holiday season just around the corner, you might be seeking an appetizer that is simple but full of flavors. Maybe this Feta-Red Pepper Triangles recipe might be what you’re looking for. If you’re familiar with Greek dips and you’ve been making a certain Tyrokauteri dip well then the filling of this recipe will sound very familiar, but it’s not the same. This recipe has a few other ingredients that the dip does not, and here’s one example, eggs.
So, get out those frying pans, and let’s get to work on this full-of-taste recipe. Start by cutting up the peppers, wash the peppers thoroughly, and then finely chop. I usually cut the peppers first and then wash them. You can also use the store-bought peppers in a jar with oil. It’s much more time-consuming if you use the ready-made peppers. If you’re looking to take this recipe to the next level then spice it up, with Jalapeno peppers. I’m not much of a very very hot hot hot spicy food person but if you are then make it spicy!
There aren’t many spices in this recipe because the feta cheese I chose this time is peppery. Combined with the peppers that give a sweet taste I think the balance is just right. Although, if you are going to be using jalapeno peppers for this recipe you need to work out the ratio of the feta cheese and peppers. I used a red onion rather than yellow, the red onion also has a sweetness and balances out the filling.
This is a delicious Feta-Red Pepper Triangles vegetarian appetizer, snack call it whatever you wish and it tastes fantastic. Ohhh by the way there’s just one more ingredient that you will need breadcrumbs!! Gotchaaaa!!! I bet you didn’t know that was coming. 🙂
Wishing everyone a wonderful morning/afternoon/evening!
