Hi everyone!!
Friday and what a week this has been, my part time job is going well, and I am having fun. I have a bit of exciting news to share with you. On Wednesday I received an email from Foodgawker, my No Bake Mini Chocolate Cheesecake photo was accepted. 🙂 I was super excited about this news!! When I first saw the email I didn’t read it right away because I thought it would be the standard Thank you but Unfortunately.
After work I read all the mails that I had received, and it was time to read Foodgawker’s email and I could not believe it. Shocked I say!!! hehehe Don’t think that this is the first one I sent in and it got accepted. Nooooooo I have sent 17 photos and all were rejected. 🙂 I know that I still have a lot of work to do with photography. I have been following some on-line courses for food photography. The one that I absolutely love and if you haven’t heard of her yet, you should definitely check it out is the thebiteshot.com on youtube. Her name is Joanie and she is fantastic!!. Such simple tips and tricks sometimes does actually do the trick. 🙂
Once I was done with work yesterday, and watching the latest video Joanie posted on youtube. I headed into the kitchen to make this pretty simple Apple Cake. I had to much to do during the day so I wanted to make a simple dessert with ingredients that I already had in the kitchen. Honestly, I wasn’t really in the mood to go running to the supermarket. I did take Charlie out for his afternoon walk because that makes me happy too, getting off that chair that I have been sitting on all morning long, stretching a bit and a whole lot of walking.
So, this is what I mean about taking photos and understanding the camera. I know I took photos of how I prepared this cake, but I can’t seem to find them. The camera that I own now has a memory card uxxx but no memory of these photos??? pfffff!!! Sorry everyone!!
