Heyyy there foodie friends,
Mexican Tortilla Flatbread Swirl Recipe, I had absolutely no idea what kind of title to give these little snacks. I thought maybe I should name them curls but then again not curly. I did some research but I wasn’t able to find something that was similar and so, this is what I came up with Mexican Tortilla Flatbread Swirl Recipe. 🙂 I should have added crunchy mmm oh well!! I love Mexican Food!! I have a dear friend in Mexico which I just adore. We were talking a while back about Mexican Food and various food recipes. 🙂 So you can imagine I was drooling when she was describing some of the recipes to me!!
Tortillas remind me a bit of the Greek Pita Bread. Granted the Tortilla is flatter, not fluffy like the Greek Pita but still, both are made with flour, and most importantly both can be filled with delicious ingredients. I was in the kitchen the other day looking at the leftover Tortillas. I was trying to think of something other to do with the Tortilla wraps than fill them again. So, I thought why not bake. I popped them in the oven with olive oil and smoked paprika. These came out deliciously crunchy so I sprinkled a bit of salt, then headed straight for the tzatziki and salsa dip. Well, hubby went for the Tzatziki as for meeee definitely the salsa. What else!!??? and loved them!!
Have a good Sunday!!!
To my dear friend Rosie!!!
