This simple sauce is made for topping of various baked dishes, for example Moussaka, Pastichio or even Casseroles. 🙂 I just made a delicious oven baked Chicken Lasagna and topped it off with this Bechamel Sauce. 🙂 Will post my recipe later today 🙂
- 120 grams All Purpose Flour
- 120 grams Butter
- 1 Egg
- 4 cups of Milk
- In a small sauce pan melt the butter, once that has melted add in the flour and continue to whisk until it has thickened. On low heat add in the milk, egg and salt and continue to whisk until it becomes a thick sauce. You can also add in salty cheese instead of salt another great addition to this sauce.
- Top this delicious Bechamel Sauce on a recipe of your choice. 🙂
