Strawberry No Sugar Smoothie

Hey there,

Strawberry Smoothie is in the house!! This refreshing Strawberry no-sugar smoothie is a creamy, naturally sweet drink that is packed with strawberries, a splash of my favorite milk, and Greek yogurt. Strawberries are slowly making their way into my local market, but they still seem a bit on the sour side. So, I opted for frozen strawberries to make this smoothie instead!

Every time I planned to get my garden ready for spring/summer, it would start raining. But the past few days have been sunny and surprisingly warm for this time of year, so I thought a smoothie would be the perfect refreshment while working outside. Since I work from home, I set aside 30 minutes during my break to tidy up the garden. Gloves on, rake and tools ready—I was just about to get started when, all of a sudden, chaos unfolded. I don’t think I’ve mentioned this before, but I have two one-year-old basset hound puppies. You can probably guess what happened next!  Puppy playtimeeee!! No garden work, and before I knew it, my break was over, and it was time to head back to my computer!

This  No-Sugar Strawberry Smoothie is a deliciously refreshing drink full of nutrients. It has a rich berry flavor without the need for added sugar. The base is a creamy Greek yogurt, which gives this smoothie a smooth texture.  If you are looking to add a little something extra, you can toss in chia seeds.  This smoothie is perfect for a quick breakfast or a light afternoon snack. 

Whether you keep it simple or with your favorite fruits, this no-sugar strawberry smoothie is an easy, wholesome way to stay energized. Take it from me, with two basset hound puppies!

Strawberry No Sugar Smoothie

Equipment

  • 1 smoothie mixer

Ingredients
  

  • 2 cups strawberries frozen
  • cups organic milk
  • 1 cup greek yogurt 2% fat
  • 1 cup ice (optional)
  • 1 tbsp honey (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Add the strawberries, milk, and greek yogurt into the blender.
  • Blend on high for a few minutes.
  • Add Ice
