Hey, there everyone
I hope everyone is enjoying their Thanksgiving holiday with family and friends. Everyone is probably stuffed with food and desserts and is not in the mood for more. But here comes another easy dessert for the days following Thanksgiving Nutella Mousse Cup Dessert. A simply delicious dessert for those craving a lighter airy chocolate dessert.
Moving forward with the Nutella Mousse Cup Dessert, I started to prep the ingredients needed to make homemade whipped cream. I used heavy cream, a few tablespoons of confectioners’ sugar, and a teaspoon of vanilla extract. I’ve never used organic vanilla extract before so I was very interested in seeing if the taste is similar to the regular vanilla extract I often use. I was surprised with the result, and I will stick with the new organic vanilla extract.
While the mixer was whipping away at the cream, I took out the Nutella jar I had in my pantry. Nutella, sold in Europe is thicker compared to Nutella sold in the US. In the US it is lighter so you can use the amount that works for you. The catch to this recipe is how well the whipped cream you prepare will combine with Nutella. I whipped the cream for about 5 to 7 minutes, on medium speed to get a light and fluffy texture. The key ingredient here is the cream, where I live they only have 32% which for me worked out beautifully. Usually, you can find 35%fat in heavy cream in most countries but no no no not here. But it’s not a big deal 32% or 35% of either will do.
So, if you’re looking to prepare a light, fluffy dessert Nutella Mousse Cup Dessert is for you.
I wish everyone a fun, relaxing weekend!
