Sunset Strawberry Mango Smoothie

Hello foodie friends,

I’ve been making quite a few smoothies lately but, I haven’t been posting the recipes because I am sure you all know how to make them and what variety of smoothies exist.  I am posting this Sunset Strawberry Mango Smoothie is so yummy because of the fruit combination.   Strawberries, Mango, and fresh Oranges and let’s not forget our orange juice are the main ingredients.  Many will say that a banana is the base of a smoothie, yes, I agree for most smoothies but not all.  For those who do not eat bananas, like me we need to add other ingredients as a base.

I’ve tried to use juice and yogurt as a base for my smoothies for fruit smoothies that is, I haven’t tried any green smoothies yet.   Green smoothies are a bit too much for me because I cook and eat a lot of vegetables so I prefer to keep my smoothies fruity.  Skimming through a booklet given to me when I bought my blender the booklet had many different kinds of recipes for smoothies and smoothie bowls.  I found a delicious smoothie recipe and thought why not post this maybe someone would like to give it a try.

The only difference is that the original recipe calls for pineapple chunks which I, unfortunately, did not have in my freezer.  I tweaked the recipe and added only the frozen fruit with the addition of orange juice and half a fresh orange.  In this Sunset Strawberry Mango and Orange smoothie with no sweetener I may have added a bit more than I was supposed to but I loved it!!  But I will definitely add in pineapple chunks next time.

I have made a video and posted it on TikTok.

Have a good morning/afternoon/evening everyone!!
