Soft Homemade Sandwich Bread

Hello,

There is nothing better than homemade bread. right? The aroma of the bread baking in the oven, you guys get where I’m going with this?  This Soft Homemade Sandwich bread is seriously simple to make.  This is the type of bread that makes you want to slice into it while it’s still warm (even though we all know we should wait… do we ever wait? No. 😂)

I’ll be honest, baking bread can feel intimidating. Yeast, rising times, “did I kill the yeast?” moments… we’ve all been there. But this recipe is one of those bread recipes that turns out fabulous every single time. It’s the kind of loaf that makes you wonder why you didn’t start baking your own sandwich bread sooner. What I love most about this bread is its texture. The crumb is light and airy, yet strong enough to hold any fillings without falling apart. It’s perfect for toast in the morning, grilled cheese at lunch, or a simple buttered slice straight from the loaf. And the crust? Soft, golden, and never too thick.  I threw all the ingredients in my stand mixer bowl, except for the yeast, and it did all the work for me.  And before I knew it, I was pulling a warm loaf of bread out of the oven.

If you’ve been thinking about trying homemade bread but didn’t know where to start, this is your recipe. This loaf is soft, dependable, and wonderfully versatile, and is the kind of bread you’ll want to bake again and again.  This sandwich bread is made with simple ingredients that we all have on hand.  Don’t forget the water needs to be lukewarm!

Whether you toast it in the morning with butter and honey, layer it with your favorite fillings for lunch, or use it for the ultimate grilled cheese, this loaf does it all. And the best part? Once you bake your own sandwich bread, store-bought just doesn’t feel the same anymore.  This Soft Homemade Sandwich Bread recipe is a winner!
