Brandy Infused Strawberries

Hellooo,

I hope everyone had a beautiful Easter holiday filled with love, laughter, and delicious food! Because, let’s be honest, when family and friends come together, what’s always at the center of it all? Good food, good vibes, and maybe a tempting dessert or two. Speaking of desserts, let’s talk about these Brandy Infused Strawberries.  These are juicy, sweet, and soaked with just the right amount of brandy, which gives a balance of flavor. It’s one of those treats that feels fancy without even trying.

There’s just something so effortlessly elegant about strawberries soaked in brandy. But truth be told, this treat is so simple, it practically makes itself.  I first made these one evening many, many years ago, when I had some extra strawberries and a tiny bit of brandy left (you know which one, the one you keep meaning to toss it, but something says “nah, keep it for cooking”). I ended up using it to make these delicious infused strawberries.

The strawberries soak up all the warmth and sweetness of the brandy, while still keeping their juicy bite.  I like to toss in just a touch of sugar… okay, maybe a bit more than just a touch—and maybe a little more than just a splash of brandy too. 😄 What can I say? I like my desserts with a lot of flavor! Let them marinate for a few hours, or even overnight if you’ve got the patience (which I rarely do). I soaked these for 20 minutes, no patience, remember.

Here’s what I love most about strawberries: You can spoon them over Greek yogurt or ice cream, or layer them into a parfait with a crumble of biscuits and whipped cream.  Sound yummy?? or even serve them in a little glass bowl with a mint and poof, a gourmet dessert is born.  I didn’t have any mint on hand, so I threw in a little parsley instead to give it that fresh green vibe. It’s not traditional, but it worked just fine!

These simple Brandy Infused Strawberries are a delicious after-dinner dessert.  Got some strawberries in your fridge or thinking about picking some up?  Try out this dessert, or sprinkle a few of these infused strawberries over Greek yogurt, now that’s seriously so good!  A delicious, simple, elegant dessert that is also a party pleasure, bursting with flavor.

Have a great morning/afternoon/evening, everyone!
