Hey there friends,
How is everyone? I’ve been out of it for a while, having slight issues with my eyes. I was spending too much time in front of the screen due to work, and it took a toll on my eyes. I took a break because I needed to rest my eyes.
Refreshing Mint Lime Drink Summer in a Glass! When summer hits with those hot, sticky days, all I want is something cold, fresh, and not boring. And that’s where this Mint Lime Drink comes in. It’s a zesty, cool, and feels like a little Greek island holiday in a glass (without the sunburn, thank you very much!). hehehe
The ingredients for this drink are pretty simple. Fresh lime juice for that tangy kick, mint leaves for a cool breeze effect, and just the right amount of sweetness to balance it all out. Top it with sparkling water (like I did), and suddenly you’re sipping on something that makes plain water feel… well, a little envious.
I usually make a big pitcher because let’s face it, one glass is never enough, but this time I went for less. Here’s a little tip: if you’re entertaining, this drink looks super fancy with a few lime slices and mint sprigs floating around. If you serve it in a tall glass with crushed ice, watch out!! (Check out everyone’s expressions) Oh, and if you want to give it a little “twist,” let’s just say a splash of metaxa or vodka turns it into an instant cocktail. heheheh
So next time the heat is unbearable, skip the store-bought sodas and mix up this Mint Lime Drink. It’s quick, refreshing, and way more fun to sip on while daydreaming about your next vacation.
Wishing everyone a lovely morning/afternoon/evening!
