Hellooooooo,
A few years ago, I made these Halloween No-Bake Monster Oreo Cookies and posted them on my blog. And let me tell you, they were a total hit! Both the kids and the adults couldn’t get enough of them (I mean, who can resist a cookie with googly candy eyes staring back at you?). :). So, I thought, why not post them again? Maybe someone would like to give them a try, and so here they are.
Let’s see… let’s talk a bit about Halloween! The last time I actually dressed up feels like forever ago. My husband and I were invited to a friend’s Halloween party, and of course, I showed up as a witch. A good one, naturally! I had the classic pointy hat, but I drew the line at the crooked nose (there are limits! heheheh). We laughed, danced, and had such a wonderful time.
Anyway, back to these Monster Cookies, I thought… why not bring them back? Because they are fun and just slightly spooky, cookies never go out of style. These little monsters are soft, chewy, and what else made from Oreos. Plus, they’re ridiculously fun to make! You can get creative with the colors green, orange, purple, you name it. I chose to go with the white covered Oreos. The messier and goofier they look, the better, but isn’t that what baking Halloween cookies is all about?
Oreo cookies… oh, where do I even start? They’ve been a favorite of mine since I was a kid, and honestly, not much has changed. There’s something about grabbing a tall glass of cold milk and dunking that creamy delight. I have these two little snacks that I allow myself sometimes, a Snickers bar and, of course, Oreo cookies. And ever since the White Oreo cookies came out, I’ve been treating myself to a box every month.
It’s for those days when I feel like cheating a little from my usual healthy eating routine; we all have our cheat days! Sometimes life just calls for a cookie (or five), a sip of milk, and a tiny celebration of the sweet things in life. No baking was involved in making these cookies, just a whole lot of dipping! At some point, things got so messy that I just gave up trying to clean between dips. (You know that moment when you think, “Eh, I’ll deal with it later”? Yep, that was me.)
Even if Halloween isn’t your thing, these cookies will win you over in no time. They’re fun, deliciously sweet, and just the right amount of spooky without any of the fuss. Sometimes it’s nice to make a treat that’s more about having fun, and these cookies are exactly that! (without those eyes staring at you)
Get out those dipping bowls and just have fun with these No-Bake Monster Oreo Cookies. It’s the way to gooooo!! 🙂
Have a great weekend, everyone!
