  • 1 ½ cucumbers sliced
  • 1 red onion sliced
  • 10 kalamata olives
  • 2 feta cheese blocks whole or crumbled

  • 2 tsp oregano

  • Start by giving the tomatoes a good wash, then cut them in half and into quarters, nice, chunky pieces
  • Slice the cucumbers into rounds first, then cut those rounds in half to make bite-sized half-moon shapes.
  • Place a few tomato chunks and cucumber slices into a serving bowl.
  • Peel and slice the red onion, then scatter the rings around the bowl, tucking them in over the tomatoes and cucumbers.
  • Garnish with crumbled feta cheese or leave the block of feta on top of the salad.
  • Drizzle olive oil and vinegar over the ingredients. Sprinkle dry oregano and season with salt.
  • Serve with bread, and don't forget to dip the fresh bread in the bowl.
