French Toast with Artisan Bread

French Toast made with special Artisan Bread that will bring your breakfast to a completely different level.

Ingredients
  

  • 4 slices bread Italian or sourdough
  • 2 tbsp butter unsalted
  • 2 eggs small
  • cup milk
  • 1 tsp cinnamon
  • Maple syrup optional
  • fresh fruit
  • 4 tbsp honey optional
  • 1 tsp vanilla extract
  • ½ tbsp sugar

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl whisk together eggs, milk, cinnamon, sugar, and vanilla extract.
  • Preheat the pan and add in butter. Soak both sides of the bread in the egg mixture.
  • Place the bread in the pan and cook for about 4 minutes on both sides.
  • Cook until golden brown, Garnish with your favorite fresh fruit and drizzle Maple syrup or honey. Serve hot
