Pan Fried Greek Graviera Cheese with Honey

Hey everyone  🙂

I love the combination of sweet and salty?  Do you?  This first time I tried this combo I was about 15 years old. Salty potatoes chips and oatmeal cookies with raisins were my first sweet and salty combo hahaha…by the way oatmeal cookies are still my favorite cookies.  🙂

I was able to find this delicious Greek Cheese from one of the Greek Deli’s we have in NL.  It is about an hour and a half away from my house but I don’t mind…I actually do like short and long road trips. 🙂   Back to the recipe…the pan-fried cheese is usually garnished with lemon juice to give that salty taste a bang.  But this level of salt and sweetness is just amazing at every bite.  If you are unable to find this specific Greek Cheese you can also you any pasteurized cheese that melts.

Here is a tip that you might not know and this is for the new cooks. 🙂  Before frying dip the cheese into water so that the flour sticks! 🙂  A very easy recipe that is also a great appetizer if your planning on having a small party

Have a great day everyone and please STAY SAFE!!
