Valentine's Day Chocolate Souffle

This chocolate and cocoa dessert will be a favorite amongst chocolate lovers.

Equipment

  • 4 ramekins buttered
  • 2 bowls
  • 1 spatula

Ingredients
  

  • cup 70% dark chocolate chopped
  • ½ cup sugar
  • cup butter room temp - melted
  • ¼ cup all-purpose flour
  • 3 eggs
  • tbsp cocoa shifted
  • 1 tbsp milk

Instructions
 

  • Preheat oven
  • Chop the chocolate and add the butter into a bowl. Place on top of steamed simmering water and stir until both have melted. Once both have melted set aside to cool for a few minutes.
  • In the second bowl add three whole eggs, sugar, and whisk until combined.
  • Add in the cooled-off chocolate mixture.
  • Continue adding in the flour, the shifted cocoa powder, and milk. Stir until combined and slightly thickened.
  • Fold ¾ of the mix into each buttered ramekin.
  • Bake at 200C/ 400F for 8 to 10 minutes.
