This traditional Greek Tzatiki dip is placed in a small white bowl garnished with olive oil and dill. On the top left hand side is a cucumber cut in half with a garlic clove and dill. On the top right hand side there is a bottle of olive oil and in the middle there are small pita bread. One is whole and the other one is cut into small triangle pieces. Placed on parchment paper.

Traditional Greek Tzatziki Dip

Ingredients
  

  • 2 garlic clovers finely chopped
  • 1 ½ cups greek yogurt strained full-fat
  • 3 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 ½ tbsp red wine vinegar
  • 1 cucumber shredded
  • salt

Instructions
 

  • Shred that cucumber, then give it a good squeeze to get all that excess water out.
  • Toss the yogurt into a medium-sized bowl, then add the finely chopped garlic, vinegar, a pinch of salt, and olive oil.
  • Use a whisk to give it a good stir until everything’s creamy and smooth.
  • Serve it up with your favorite bread, warm pita, crunchy tortilla chips, or whatever you’ve got handy for dipping.
