- 10 potatoes peeled and thinly sliced
- 5 streaky bacon slices sliced into small pieces
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- salt
- pepper
Place the potatoes in a large pot and cover them completely with water. Set the pot over high heat and bring to a boil. The potatoes do not need to be fully cooked. Set aside to cool and then slice.
Transfer the sliced potatoes to the cast-iron pan.
Slice the bacon into small pieces. Sprinkle over the potatoes.
Add the butter, drizzle the olive oil over the potatoes, and season with the salt and pepper. Toss everything together, then bake in a preheated oven at 180℃ for 30 minutes.
Baked until crispy and golden brown.
