Cuisine Greek, Mediterranean
- 5 bell peppers red - roasted
- ¼ cup olive oil
- ½ cup feta cheese crumbled
- 2 tbsp white vinegar
- salt optional
- pepper optional
- 2 tbsp oregano dried
Preheat the oven to 200℃.
Place the peppers into the pan and let them cook until they’re soft and slightly charred. This step brings out their natural sweetness and adds a rich, deep flavor to the meze.
Once the peppers are done, remove them from the pan and set them aside to cool completely. This helps the peppers settle and makes them easier to handle before adding the rest of the ingredients.
Place the cooled peppers onto a serving dish. Generously drizzle them with olive oil and a splash of vinegar. If you'd like, season with a bit of salt and pepper. Finish by crumbling feta cheese over the top and sprinkling with dried oregano.
Serve and enjoy with your favorite crusty bread or warm pita. :)
