Greek Feta Saganaki Recipe

Ingredients
  

  • 250 Feta cheese block
  • 1 egg medium size
  • 2 tbsp all-purpose-flour
  • 5 tbsp black sesame seeds
  • 5 tbsp white sesame seeds
  • 2 tbsp vegetable oil
  • ¼ cup honey optional

Instructions
 

  • In a bowl, combine the black and white sesame seeds.
  • Break the egg in a bowl and whisk.
  • In another bowl, add the flour.
  • Take the block of cheese and roll it in the flour.
  • Dip the cheese in the egg mixture.
  • Then roll it in the sesame seed mix.
  • Add the vegetable oil to the frying pan.
  • Heat the pan to medium heat, place the block of cheese in, and fry on one side. Continue the process until golden brown.
  • Transfer the feta cheese to a serving plate and drizzle with honey.
  • Serve warm
