- 250 Feta cheese block
- 1 egg medium size
- 2 tbsp all-purpose-flour
- 5 tbsp black sesame seeds
- 5 tbsp white sesame seeds
- 2 tbsp vegetable oil
- ¼ cup honey optional
In a bowl, combine the black and white sesame seeds.
Break the egg in a bowl and whisk.
In another bowl, add the flour.
Take the block of cheese and roll it in the flour.
Dip the cheese in the egg mixture.
Then roll it in the sesame seed mix.
Add the vegetable oil to the frying pan.
Heat the pan to medium heat, place the block of cheese in, and fry on one side. Continue the process until golden brown.
Transfer the feta cheese to a serving plate and drizzle with honey.
Serve warm
