Easy Homemade Toast Bread

This bread is soft and fluffy great for breakfast and sandwiches.

Equipment

  • 1 stand mixer
  • 1 bowl
  • 1 loaf baking pan

Ingredients
  

  • 4 ⅓ cups all-purpose flour
  • tbsp sugar
  • cup buttermilk
  • 1 ½ tsp salt
  • ¾ cup water
  • cup vegetable oil
  • 1 tbsp dry yeast
  • olive oil

Instructions
 

  • Add the flour into the mixing bowl and then add the sugar, salt, dry yeast, buttermilk, water, and vegetable oil knead for about 15 minutes or until the mixture forms a dough.
  • Preheat oven to 170℃
  • Remove the dough from the mixing bowl form a ball and place it into the slightly greased bowl. Cover with plastic wrap and let it rise at room temperature for 1 hr or until it has doubled.
  • Once it has risen remove the dough and knead it with wet hands into a loaf of bread.
  • Place it into the greased olive oil loaf baking pan. Cover it with a towel and set aside until it has risen.
  • Place onto the center rack of the oven for 30 minutes. Bread is ready when the top is brown and firm.
  • Remove from the oven and let the bread completely cool before removing from the pan.
  • Slice the bread and enjoy
