Easy Crispy Roasted Potatoes

Fresh potatoes cut into halves, drizzled with olive oil, and sprinkled with spices.

- 10 potatoes large with skin
- ¼ cup olive oil plus 3 tbsp olive oil
- 1½ tbsp smoked paprika
- ½ tbsp pepper
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ¼ tsp salt (optional)
Preheat oven to 220C. Wash and cut the potatoes into halves leaving the skin on.
Place the potatoes into a large bowl with water and wash thoroughly.
Drain and pat dry place the potatoes into the large bowl, drizzle olive oil and the spices onto the potatoes.
Close the lid of the plastic bowl and give it a few good shakes. Let it sit for 5 minutes.
Drizzle 3 tbsp of olive oil onto the bottom of the baking pan. Transfer the potatoes to the pan and place in the oven for 30 minutes. Roast until golden brown and crispy on the outside.
