Buttery Mashed Sweet Potatoes

A soft buttery textured sweet potato recipe combined with balsamic vinegar.

- 5 sweet potatoes washed
- 100 grams butter unsalted cut into cubes
- 1 ½ tbsp balsamic vinegar
- salt and pepper optional
Add the sweet potatoes into a large pot cover with water and boil. The sweet potatoes are ready when soft and tender. Put the butter in a pot and melt on low heat.
Once the potatoes are ready drain and set aside for a few minutes. Peel the skin off the sweet potatoes put the potatoes into a large bowl and mash with a fork or a potato press.
Slowly add in the melted butter and finally the balsamic vinegar. Stir until all the ingredients are well combined. Season with salt and pepper.
Serve immediately and hot.
