Madeleine Orange Butter Cookie Recipe
These little buttery cookies have a hint of orange taste and scent.
- 1 cup flour
- 3 eggs
- ⅔ cups superfine sugar
- 1 orange zest
- 1 ½ tbsp orange juice
- ¼ tsp salt
- 1 tsp baking powder
- ⅓ cup butter melted unsalted
Beat sugar with eggs.
Add orange zest and juice and whisk.
Add all dry ingredients into the egg mixture. Whisk until it becomes a thick batter.
Melt the butter and let it cool before adding it to the batter. Leave batter in the fridge overnight.
Pour one tablespoon of batter into the form. Bake at 180 for 20 min or until golden brown. Sprinkle powder sugar over the cookies.
