Lentil Rice Soup

A healthy soup filled with Iron and protein due to the Lentil.

  • 2 cups Lentil boiled
  • 1 ½ cups White Long Grain Rice boiled
  • 1 Pepper chopped
  • 2 Tomatoes grated
  • 2 Bay leaves
  • cup Olive OIl
  • 1 Garlic Clove (optional)
  • 2 tbsp Smoked Paprika
  • 1 tbsp Tomato Paste
  • ½ tsp Chili flakes
  • Salt
  • ½ tsp Sugar
  • 1 Leek chopped
  • 1 liter Water


  • Boil lentil and rice in salted water. Drain and set aside
    boiled lentil and rice
  • Add olive oil into a medium-size pot along with peppers, leek, garlic until fragrant. Stir for a few minutes pour in the water and let boil for 5 minutes on medium to high heat.
  • Transfer the rest of the ingredients and cook for 30 minutes until soup has thickened.
