AMARANTH GREENS (VLITA CHORTA)

Ingredients
  

  • 2 kilo of Amaranth Greens Vlita
  • 1/2 teaspoon of Baking Soda
  • Lemon Juice
  • Vinegar
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 2 Garlic Cloves diced

Instructions
 

  • Wash Greens thoroughly and drain.
  • Add baking soda into water and boil. Once the water has started to bubble add in the Greens and boil until withered for about 10 minutes.
  • Drain and set aside to cool off…(some prefer to eat these ho🙂
  • Once cooled add in the chopped onion, or diced garlic or both if you prefer and top with Lemon juice or Vinegar.
